But what we would actually like to do is break down why My Solution Training chose this type of training and why we decided to do the training the way we do.
The owner of the company (Adrian) worked in mining for many years and whilst he enjoyed it and loved the lifestyle he could see a niche for people needing to get some pre-work machinery experience and guidance into the mining industry itself – in other words he wanted to empower people!!
He started off training for a company and enjoyed that for a number of years but felt that he had more to offer the students and wanted to adopt a different approach to the training.
This is where the vision for My Solution Training came to fruition.
There are many simulated sites out there that use undersized machinery but Adrian wanted a place where people were getting training in real mine size machinery on an active site and could actually see the coal and understand what it could be like on a large scale mine.
He wanted each student to be given their own trainer who would take them through all the steps – someone who had patience, understanding and years of hands on mining experience so that they could impart their knowledge and experience to the students.
At the end of the course he wanted to give students guidance on what to do now that they had their certificates – what companies employed for the industry, how to find them, how to apply for jobs with them, how to ace that interview process, how to write a professional resume to get you noticed, the mining terminology used so that the student would not feel like they had entered another world when arriving at the mine site and hearing all this unknown language.
Adrian wanted the process to be easy and smooth, giving you a customer service person that you deal with throughout the process, helping guide you through your decision making with no sales pressure – informing you of your options, not pushing you to buy.
And now we here at My Solution Training believe that we have achieved that success based on the feedback that we get from our students – the 5 star google reviews we have received, the amount of students who call us or write to us to tell us they got jobs (look at our facebook posts to see how many) I mean really, how many training organisations can say that they had a student contact them to say they got work. After all, you are with the company for such a small time yet many of our students wanted to share their success story with us so we now feel that we have achieved our goal of creating an amazing entry level package to give you the skills, qualifications and knowledge to make a career of machinery operating in the industry.
