Here is a list of people that gained employment whilst our country was in various lockdown stages due to COVID – 19. These are people that got into Dump Truck roles (there are others that got in with other roles – see that post as well to give you an idea of what is about).

Hi All!
Just wanted to update you and say that I’ve secured a job driving trucks in Weipa, QLD.
I’m already in my induction training… the last day and I’ll start with my crew on Monday on day shift.
I don’t think I would have been successful without Michelle’s excellent mine resume and the training that I received driving the haul truck!

NOV 2020 – Ashley G
Hey guys,
I flew up to you in July just before the borders shut up shop again. I’ve been actively looking and applying for multiple jobs on a daily basis 20-30 a day lots and lots of knock backs – border and isolation issues and super hard with FIFO jobs.
But today after a long few months I finally got the green light and got offered a job as a full time MOXY operator I can’t wait to start and kick off my career.
I can’t begin to thank you all enough for all the support and knowledge also for the amazing work from Michelle with my resume and cover letter that really pushed me the extra mile thank you all so much.
If anyone is keen on the industry please don’t give up a rejection is just a step closer to finding the right one!
OCT 2020 – Nick
Well it’s amazing what a post can do. Nick saw the last post and called us straight away to say that he got a job within 3 months of doing the course.
He did the course in June this year and got a start labouring in a civil environment. From this he also got a start operating a bit of machinery.
This led to him getting work in QLD as a Water Cart / Moxy Operator.
He is now doing 2:1 swings and is loving it.
He applied for over 100 jobs and finally got in so his advice is the same as ours -DON’T GIVE UP
APR 2020 – Tamara
After completing the course on the last day of January and then going through the numerous online assessments, interviews, face to face interview and coal board medical you have finally got a start date.
To those saying the mines are not hiring entry level here is yet another person proving that this is not the case.
Apr 2020 – Bree
This lady had to urgently drive from the south coast of Sydney to get to us before the borders closed for Covid-19 to get her practical training done.
