The course is structured around one-on-one training, giving each participant dedicated access to both their trainer and machinery. Rather than sharing operating time between a larger group of students, this approach is designed to maximise the time you spend developing practical skills and confidence behind the controls.
Entry Requirements
The course is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced operators of large machinery. Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a driver’s licence, with a minimum of a provisional/P Plate licence
- Have sufficient English skills to understand safety instructions, course materials and assessment requirements

Rigid Haul Truck Driver Training is conducted at My Solution Training’s Ipswich training site in Queensland. The site is approximately 40 minutes south-west of Brisbane and approximately 40 minutes north-west of the Gold Coast. Training takes place in a practical environment where participants can gain hands-on experience operating real mine-size machinery.
